She was born in Alcoa, Tenn., Nov. 21, 1922, daughter of the late Fredrick A. and Mary Estelle Richardson Davis. Mrs. Stovall was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and had retired from Lockheed Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Wallace H. Richardson, Sr.; her second husband, Henry A. Stovall; a brother, Buster V. Davis and a sister, Ruth Davis Prewett.
Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn Croft of Morganton, Marie and R.L. Boswell of Adairsville, and Wanda and Michael McCadden of Kingston; a son, Wallace H. "Dick" Richardson, Jr. of Buchanan; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, at 1 p.m. from Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Larry Hibberts officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Davis, Robert Fuller, Matt McCadden, Todd Johnson, Russell Cobb, Dwayne Odom, James Cline, Jeremy Bell, and Casey Troxel.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Barton Funeral Home.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Helen Davis Stovall.
