Born Feb. 14, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Wehunt and the late Myrtle Wehunt. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Barry Wehunt, Billy Dean Wehunt, Alvin Wehunt, Stacy Wehunt, and her husband of 47 years, Edward Thurman.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Tressia Wehunt; brother, Marion Wehunt; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Jason Neal, Lacy and Wayne Beaty; grandsons, Austin Beaty and J.J. Neal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
No formal public services will be held as the family wish to have a small private scattering on private property.
