"I joined with Dot Frasier and several other people several years ago to form the Bartow Education Foundation to help fill in the gap with the needs of teachers and try to raise funding," Clark said. "I've been involved ever since and I've also been a past president of the foundation."

What drew you to this line of work?

A: I think God had a plan for my life and he directed me to this profession.

What has been the most rewarding part of your role in Bartow County?

What would you consider you greatest personal or professional achievement?

A: Personal, to have a relationship with God through Jesus and have Christian friends. Professional, to start Asher Realty in my living room 29 years ago with the help of my wife, Denese, and Dough Cochran, my associate broker and friend until he went to be with The Lord a few days ago, and the wonderful agents and people that have been the success of Asher Realty.

What would most people be surprised to learn about you?

A: I was certified to scuba dive when I was 50.

Where is your favorite place to be in Bartow County?

A: The lake or home with family.

What are three words you would use to describe yourself?

A: Love my family and friends, respect others and try to live a Christian life.

If you were not in this line, what would you like to do?

A: Be a photographer.
