The City of White will hold it's regular city council meeting tonight at city hall, 19 W. Rocky St., at 7 p.m.

Old business on the agenda will include city engineer John Sweitzer discussing water and sewer rates.

In May, the city received the preliminary results from a 2010 audit that suggested the city raise water rates.

City Manager Jane Richards said there would be discussions with the city's engineer and attorney before considering a rate increase.

In other business:

* The council will vote on setting the property tax rate, which remains at 20 mills.

* The council will vote on an intergovernmental agreement with Bartow County concerning upcoming Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax projects.

* The council will vote on a sales tax resolution to partner with the Georgia Department of Revenue.
