BCSO lieutenant arrested in domestic dispute

Bartow County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested an off-duty deputy for his involvement in a domestic dispute that happened Sunday night in Bartow County.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, Jeffery Todd Rogers, 41, was arrested and booked into the Bartow County jail for aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act, terroristic threats and acts, two counts of pointing a gun at another person and three counts of second-degree cruelty to children.

Rogers is currently in jail awaiting a bond hearing on those charges. Rogers has been placed on administrative leave until the conclusion of the investigation.
