Bartow County's Little League softball all-stars needed just four innings to dispose of West Point Monday in their second game of the Georgia state tournament in Elberton.
Kinley Liscio finished 4 for 4 with two doubles, Aliza Baker went 3 for 4, and Hannah Lee went 2 for 2 with two doubles in Bartow's 22-1, run-rule win.
Bartow opened up the game by scoring seven runs.
West Point got one run back in the bottom of the first before Bartow busted through with eight more runs for a 15-1 lead.
Bartow added a run in the third and six more in the fourth to provide the final margin in a game that ended with 15 unanswered runs for the victors.
Pitching for Bartow were Baker, first inning; Lee, second inning; Hope Elrod, third inning; and Tara Mathis, fourth inning.
The 12-and-under Bartow team plays today at 6 p.m. against the winner of Monday night's Warner Robins-Baldwin County game.
