Parents and their children registered Saturday morning at the Cartersville Civic Center Bartow Give a Kid a Chance site. The event was also held at Adairsville and Woodland high schools. Bartow Give a Kid a Chance provided about 1,400 children health screenings, haircuts, backpacks with school supplies, and a pair of pants and a shirt.
