Randy was born Jan. 23, 1953 in Cobb County and was owner of H & R Fire and Safety in Cartersville.
He was president of the G.A.F.S.E.D., was an active member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church and had been a member for 50 years, was a Sunday School teacher, Brotherhood Director and past president of Constructors for Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold C. Carlisle, mother-in-law, Mag Turner and grandparents, Papa and Sugar Mitchell.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa Carlisle, daughter, Cami Carlisle, his mother, Betty Cobb, sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Calvin Greene, Renee and Dale Hibbard, his father-in-law, Daniel Turner, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Pam Turner, all of Cartersville, brother-in-law, Keith B. Turner of Rome, nieces and nephews, Shane and Scott Blackman, Rebecca Williams, Randi Winn McSwain, Francie Brown and Adam, Andrew and Chip Turner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. at Rowland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Ringwalt officiating. The body will lie in state Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Burial will follow In the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Rowland Springs Baptist Church Monday evening from 5 to 9 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Adam Turner, Andrew Turner, Bo Dover, Chip Turner, Chris McSwain, Scott Blackman, Shane Blackman and Tyler Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hal Maulden, Jimmy Don Crane, Larry Crane, Larry Owens, Arnold Harner, Shane Copeland, Bryan Weeks, Jeffrey Simpson, Lamar Payne and Trey Brown.
Donations may be made to Rowland Springs Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Randy Carlisle.
