Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, at Pine Log Methodist Church in Pine Log with Rev. Barbara Hatchell officiating. Mr. Vaughan, a native of Bartow County, moved to Smyrna in 1961. He was a member of the Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter, Lynda Webb and husband, Bill of Ellijay; son, Taylor "Bo" Vaughan Jr. and wife, Connie of Smyrna; sister, Sarah Manning of Lake Worth, FL; four grandchildren, Maggie Wertz; John Webb and wife, Jodi; Bonnie Nelson and husband, Erik; and Joy Vaughan; four great-grandchildren, Madeline Wertz, Henry and Julia Webb and Cora Elaine Nelson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pine Log Methodist Campground or Pine Log Cemetery Fund.
