The Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force arrested Jonte Rashad Johnson, 21, of 4234 Sequoia Place, Acworth, following a two-month long investigation into the distribution of marijuana.

A search warrant was obtained for the home and vehicles and returned over a half pound of marijuana, weighed into one ounce packages ready for sale.

Working alongside the Acworth Police Department, the DTF made the arrest Thursday, Sept. 8.

Two other individuals were at the home during the search, leading to their arrest as well. Karen Anissa Johnson, 40, of 4234 Sequoia Place, and Jameson John Rene, 33, of 104. N. Station Place, both of Acworth, were arrested, as the illegal substance was found inside the home, making it accessible to all parties present on the scene. Both Ms. Johnson and Jameson also were charged with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school. Chattahoochee Technical College is visible from the residence.
