She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Tommie Hardin, and grandson Zachary Ray Thomas. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Vinings First Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Holley officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Kay Hardin Hiott and Frank A. Hiott of Smyrna; son and daughter-in-law Tommy G. Hardin and Carol Hardin of Suwanee; sister Sue Reeves of Smyrna; brother Leon Reeves of Marietta; seven grandchildren: Donna Hardin Rhodes, Stephen Thomas Hardin, Randall Andrew Hardin, Matthew Glenn Hardin, Kyle Mitchell Thomas and Phillip Dale Thomas; 12 great-grandchildren: Jonathan Rhodes, Nicholas Rhodes, Zachary Rhodes, Nina Hardin, Lucas Hardin, Lily Hardin, Rebecca Hardin, Kendell Hardin, Corinna Hardin, Dakotta Hardin, Elliott Hardin and Payton Nichole Thomas; two step-grandchildren: Andrea Hiott and Daniel Hiott; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hardin was an active member of Vinings First Baptist Church for over 40 years. In addition, gardening was her favorite pastime. Her pride and joy was her wonderful family. She worked as an office manager for Hardin Heating and Services and Reeves Heating and Air.
The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Castellaw Funeral Home.
