Ms. Tanecia Netara Reed, 31, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Oct. 1. She was a member of First Corinthians Baptist Church and a graduate of Brainerd High School.

Survivors are her loving parents, Rev. William E. Reed, Mrs. Vaseline Reed; son, Mr. William Eleczander Reed-Benford; three brothers, Misters Dereke L. (Shynita) Townsend of Chattanooga, Darren W. (Nickie) Reed of Rome, Rico (Vickie) Reed of Cartersville, two sisters, Mrs. Leslie C. Moore of Lawrenceville, Ms. Fatimah Reed; grandparents, Rev. J. W. Strickland, Mrs. Blanch Strickland of Chattanooga; godmother, Mrs. Marva G. Taylor, great-godmother, Mrs. Mary Bell Brown; special aunts, Mrs. Jerelene Hinton, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Strickland, Ms. Dorothy Reed of Rome; uncles, Mr. Curtis Reed of Lebanon, Tenn., Mr. James Reed of Rome; Mr. Donald Strickland and Mr. Douglas Strickland of Chattanooga; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will celebrate the life of Ms. Tanecia Netara Reed on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 3777 Wilcox Blvd., Chattanooga, with Bishop David Braziel as Eulogist, Pastor Wayne Johnson, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at First Corinthians Baptist Church, 1408 Cemetery Avenue, Chattanooga, from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment, Lakewood East Memory Garden.
