Mrs. Brubaker was born April 25, 1930 in Mishawaka, Ind., daughter of the late Don Orser and Hazel Beebe Orser. She was a self-employed bookkeeper, attended the Lutheran Church and was a needlepoint expert. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John Brubaker; two daughters, Cathy Mayrose and Keri Ems both of St. Louis, Mo.; son, Jeff Brubaker of Cartersville; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Lynn Orser of Illinois and a sister, Jean Wyatt of Mishawaka, Ind.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m., at the Savior of All Lutheran Church in Cartersville. Interment will be at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Hope Foundation, c/o Cartersville Medical Center, 960 J.F.H. Parkway, Cartersville, GA 30120.
