Doyle was born June 10, 1958, in Bartow County, a son of the late Doyle Ackerman James Sr. and Bobbie Patterson James. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Smith, and a brother, Clinton James.
Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Dawn James, Canton; Season Tyne James, Dublin; his sisters, Sandra James, Euharlee; Stacie Lawler, Euharlee; Camilla Wilson, Euharlee; granddaughter, Secret Aviona James, special friend, Mary Jo, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Cartersville, with Rev. Josh James, and Rev. Mike Abernathy, officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until funeral hour at Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet a the church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Keith James, Sammy Simmons, Carmeron Simmons, Benny James, Steve "Red" Osborne, Shawn Carter, Shane Patterson, Travis "Bo" Patterson.
