Mrs. Bradshaw was born Sept. 5, 1923, a Bartow County native and a daughter of the late Hubert O. Barron Sr. and Linnie Findley Barron.
She was a graduate of Cartersville High School and attended Piedmont College on a basketball scholarship before joining the United States Marine Corps in 1944 during World War II. Coming back to Cartersville after the war, she was a woman of many hats during her working life, working as a saleslady, executive secretary and legal secretary before retirement.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kit and Beverly Bradshaw, of Golden, Colo.; her daughter, Patricia Bradshaw Keever (Joey House) of Cartersville; her nephew and his wife, Gary and Kay Barron; niece and husband, Janet and Dean Brown; her grandchildren, Michael Christian Monard, Christoffer (Kit) Bradshaw and wife Mandy, Breanna Lynn Bradshaw, Robert Daniel Miles Bradshaw, and Kelsi Raine Keever and boyfriend Seth Alexander; her great-grandchildren, Isabella Grace Bradshaw, Kash Barron Bradshaw and Brooks Christian Bradshaw; her great-nephew, Adam Barron and her great-niece, Abby Barron; and former son-in-law, David Keever and girlfriend, Joy Leaphart.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, from the Oak Hill cemetery, in Cartersville, with Rev. Keith Willard officiating.
