Upon arrival, the officers found that the victim, Isiah Manual Figueroa, a 19 year year-old resident of Cartersville had been walking in the roadway on Collins Drive. Figueroa, wearing dark clothing, was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
Figueroa was transported to Floyd Medical Center where he is listed as being in stable condition. No charges have been filed at this time against the driver of the pickup truck. The investigation is ongoing.
