"Unfortunately, Mr. Parker announced tonight he was going to send a letter to the governor for his resignation from the board so he can move on and pursue some other opportunities out there that he may have available," Superintendent John Harper said. "We're going to miss him, he's been a great employee and a great board member for this county."
