Sheriff asks for public assistance in Walmart syringe case

The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's help concerning the finding of syringes in clothing at the Cartersville Walmart location.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, results from the GBI Crimelab have been received from three syringes with negative results. The three syringes were submitted to be tested for fingerprint evidence and according to the results, no identifiable prints were able to be recovered.

BCSO Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said there has been no evidence uncovered from the video surveillance systems that can assist in investigation to this point.
