He was born July 22, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Morris and Ersiely Wright Taylor. Mr. Taylor was retired from Federal-Mogul and was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville.
He is survived by his wife, Phoebe Taylor; son, Myron Taylor; daughter, Sherri Wylie; and grandsons, Dylan Wylie and Cole Wylie, all of Douglasville.
In honoring Morris's wishes, he will be cremated. His cremated remains will be interred beside his mother at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville. The family will receive friends at The First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville on Friday, Dec. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow at 3 p.m.
