He was born in Cartersville, June 16, 1934, son of the late Fain and Myrtle Mae Cochran. Mr. Cochran had served in the Army and was a carpenter. He also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Owen Cochran of Newnan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Jean and Rodney Colston of Adairsville and Faye and James Phillips of Fairmont; a brother and sister-in-law, Fain and Linda Cochran Jr. of Cartersville and several nieces and nephews also survive.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Billy Joe Cochran.
