Bobbie was born on Dec. 22, 1930, in Cumming, daughter of the late Chris and Ivy Shadburn Hammond. Bobbie was a member of the First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Travis Larry Cooper; one brother, Hollis Hammond; and two sisters, Audrey McDearis and Myrt Wisner.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Cooper and his wife Ann of Marietta, and Darrel Cooper and his wife Pam of Cartersville; one brother, Rev. Jimmy Hammond of Covington; four grandchildren, Ashton, Bryan, Scott and Rob Cooper; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Drs. Tommy McDearis and Bert Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include Bryan Cooper, Rob Cooper, Scott Cooper, Ashton Cooper, David Hammond and Danny Wisner.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at the funeral home.
