Mrs. Gauntt was born Oct. 24, 1922, in Wedowee, Ala.
She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gauntt, and her son, Keith Gauntt, survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Shirley Gauntt of Chelsea, Ala.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Barber of Sandy Springs, Marie Cosper of LaGrange and Janie Lee of Ludowici; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, from the Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Keith Willard officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
