Jan. 22

* Christopher Paul Burnett, 38, of 757 Grassdale Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act and three counts of cruelty to children.

* Charles Samuel Culver, 30, of 1400 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Room 240, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with theft by taking.

* Burton James Fortner, 29, of 764 Johnson Mountain Road, Rydal, was arrested and charged with contempt of court drug court sanction.

* Christopher Terry Robertson, 34, of 172 3rd St., Emerson, was arrested by Emerson police and charged with reckless conduct, discharging firearm while under the influence and theft by receiving stolen property.

* Timothy Lee Starr, 40, of 942 Scott Brown Road, Fairmount, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with simple battery and aggravated assault.

Jan. 23

* Roy Ted Chitwood, 46, of 37 Greatwood Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance, driving with suspended registration, possession of methamphetamine by ingestion and obstruction of an officer.

* Gregory Allen Ledbetter Jr., 27, of 489 Martin Luther King Drive, Adairsville, was arrested by Adairsville police and boarded at the jail.

* Leila Dianne Mann, 40, of 83 Young Loop Road, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.
