Funeral Services will be Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Mack Eppinger & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to the hour of service. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Christine Phillips, daughter of the late Charlie Morris Sr. and Annie T. Morris, was born Dec. 25, 1916, in Cartersville.
She was educated in the Bartow County School System. She joined St. Luke AME Church at an early age.
Christine united in Holy matrimony to the late Sgt. Rudolph Phillips and to this union one child, Carol Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Phillips; three brothers and one sister, Charlie Morris Jr., Benjamin Morris, Robert L. Morris and Annie Mae Crombie.
Left to cherish her memories are two brothers, Wade ( Ella) Morris and John Henry Morris of Cartersville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
