Mr. Miller was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Cobb County the son of the late Thomas Fred and Ruby (Hale) Miller.
Surviving are his sister, Faye Miller Simmons of Marietta; nephews, Samuel Kevin Simmons of Acworth, Daniel Barry Simmons of Dallas; great-nephews, Samuel Kevin Simmons Jr.; great-niece, Alicia Marie Simmons; and a great-great-nephew, Grayson Hunter Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Dr. Ed Kirsche officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Acworth.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
