Born Oct. 23, 1934 in Gordon County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond M. Evans and the late Ruby Walraven Evans. Annie was employed by EZ Mills and Nantucket and was a member of Cross Pointe Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Buddy E. Wilson, and a brother, Charles Evans.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Raymon Kitson; her son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Lynne Wilson; her grandchildren, Trevor Wilson, Devin Kitson, and Ryan Wilson (Jessica); her brothers, Mack Evans, Roy Evans, Ernest Evans, James Evans (Christa), and Miller Evans (Linda Gayle); her sisters, Margie Givens (Gene), and Millie Pallone (Al); her special friend, Faye Windom; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Diggs and the Rev. James Black officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lamar Wilson, Raymon Kitson, Trevor Wilson, Devin Kitson, Ryan Wilson and Evan Pallone. Honorary pallbearers include Mack Evans, Roy Evans, Ernest Evans, James Evans, Miller Evans, Al Pallone and Gene Givens. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 11:15 on Wednesday.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
