Joe was a devoted and caring husband, father and grandpa. He is survived by the love of his life of 32 years, Linda Avallone; his daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Melissa, Doug and Matthew D. Boone, of Acworth; his son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Daniel, Cindy and Joseph D. Avallone, of Adairsville; his sister, Frances Slater, of Newfoundland, NJ; his cousin, Maria Teller, of Paterson, N.J.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins in New Jersey.
In death, he is reunited in Heaven with loved ones gone before him, his parents, Frank and Angelina; his aunt and uncle, Joseph and Rachel Ciaramella; his sister, Rose Sammarone; and his sister-in-law, Florence Curtiss.
The family will be celebrating his life in a Memorial Service at First Assembly of God, 105 Broadus Road NE, Rome, GA 30161, on March 18 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Joseph Avallone memorial fund.
