Nicholas Brandon Lewis, 24, of Macedonia Road, White, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, after a lifelong battle with kidney disease.

Brandon was born Dec. 24, 1987, in Cartersville, and was a graduate of Woodland High School.

Survivors include his mother, Michelle Lynette Hawks; his step-father, Jason Daniel; his father, Dennis Paul Lewis; brothers, Johnathan Daniel Lewis and Austin Williams; step-brothers, Jon Williams, Matt Williams, Lynzie Williams, D.J. Williams and Kelsey Williams; grandparents, Dallas and Donna Hawks, Gail Lewis, Troy and Joan Daniel; great-grandmother, Fern Hawks; uncles and aunts, Brent and Pam Hawks, Scott Lewis, Lanette Atcheson; numerous cousins and extended family also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 18, at 3 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Old Macedonia Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening at Owen Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m.

Pallbearers will include Clay Myers, Tommy Atcheson, Wesley Dees, Dewayne Ray, Joey Baxter and Levi Ward.
