A tractor-trailer overturned on a Ford Mustang early Monday morning, injuring one person.

The crash occurred on Interstate 75 on a southbound ramp at exit 283 about 6:20 a.m. According to Georgia State Patrol Public Information Officer Gordy Wright, the driver of the Ford was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing to determine how the crash occurred, but the trooper advised the Ford was caught under the trailer axle, causing the truck to overturn onto the vehicle.

No lanes were blocked by the crash.

Man pulls knife on EMT

A man being transported by Metro Ambulance caused the emergency medical technician to call 911 Friday night in the area of Main Street and Interstate 75. The man allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket, opened it to reveal the blade, pointed it at the female EMT and told her he was "the most dangerous man you'll meet."

The woman, frightened, had the driver stop the ambulance and called 911. While meeting with the ambulance, a Cartersville officer detected an odor of alcohol coming from the man -- who was being transported to Cartersville Medical Center at his request to receive treatment for a foot injury -- and he had pulled the IV needle from his arm.

His story on the series of events kept changing and he was placed under arrest for aggravated assault. After being transported to the hospital by Bartow EMS, the man was medically cleared and taken to the jail.

Nude man spotted in Adairsville park

Manning Mill Park was bustling Saturday afternoon after several people saw a man undress near the facility's gym.

One woman said she and her family saw people swimming in the pond and one of the male subjects got out of the pond, walked over beside the gym and began to undress. She told a Bartow County deputy that she yelled at the man and told him she was calling 911. A second woman pointed out the man at a nearby table, but when the deputy went to speak with him, he had left the area.

While walking through the park, a man said he saw the suspect run into the woods. When the deputy found the suspect, he denied being the one who undressed in front of people, but said he knew who had exposed himself. As the conversation continued, an unknown male at the park approached the officer and identified the suspect as the one who shed his clothing. The suspect then apologized for the incident, saying he "didn't mean to." A child said she saw the man and the suspect was then arrested and charged with public indecency.
