Mrs. Brenda Jane Patton, 54, of Tupelo, Miss., died, Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Emory University in Atlanta. Born in Powder Springs, Feb. 21, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Billie Tom Pitts and the late Mildred Culp Pitts.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Patton of Tupelo, Miss.; her sons, Jeremy Woods of Cedartown, Michael Patton and Cory Patton both of Wichita, Kan.; her daughters, Kristina Patton and Kassandra Patton both of Wichita, Kan.; her brother, Billy Pitts of Elizabethtown, Ky.; her grandchildren, Katelynn Clara Woods of Cedartown, Andru Knaus, Lavytia Newman and Ta'Zionna Newman all of Wichita, Kan., Breanna Gail Overby of Rome, Pariscilla Duvall, Travis Patton and Uriel Patton all of Wichita, Kan.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, with Jake Stalcup officiating.
