Tonight's back-to-back episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids," will feature a pair of Bartow connections. Two Cartersville brides will be featured on the TLC show, which is filmed at bridals by lori in Atlanta. From trying on dresses to being fitted for alterations, the 30-minute show details the joys and challenges of guiding a bride and her bridal party toward a bridesmaid gown that everyone adores.

At 9 p.m., Autumn Bryson will join her brother Brandon -- a consultant at the Atlanta bridal shop -- to select the perfect dress for her three bridesmaids. Excited to share this experience with her sibling, Bryson viewed a wide range of styles and colors, which drew various opinions from all involved.

"[We walked] in and a couple of the girls went in one direction and then a couple of us went in another and then we kind of met back up," said Bryson, who plans to wed in the Turks and Caicos Islands this year. "I had two of the girls try on dresses that I picked out, some that my brother picked out, some that they picked out and then we discussed what we thought of each dress. Me and my brother had a little difference [of opinion]. He had one style in his mind and, of course, I had another. So I would say that was the difficult part.

"Him being the fashionable one, he already had something in mind, which was completely different than what I had in mind. [Before the show] what my first vision was -- something short, very beachy. I would say like a pink, peachy, coral color [and] flowy but still kind of fitted, not too flowy. I was very excited with the outcome [though]. We tried on a wide range, so in the end I was very satisfied."

While Bryson's segment will center around her finding a bridesmaid dress, the following episode, which will begin at 9:30 p.m., will show Kodi Locklear McDurmon returning with two of her bridesmaids for dress alterations. The Cartersville resident, who wed in Rydal on Sept. 10, 2011, already had purchased a black, floor-length bridesmaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and a flower detail on the waistband.

"I was engaged and married within four and a half months, so they had to put a rush on the bridesmaids' dresses and they got there literally the week of the wedding," McDurmon said. "So I guess they had someone to cancel and thought ... there was some drama that could be involved with the alterations happening within a couple of days to be able to be ready for the wedding. They gave me a call and asked me if it was possible if I could do it that week.

"I am excited to see [the show], mainly to see -- they came and filmed the wedding as well. So I'm excited to see that. ... And then as far as being anxious about it, I am wondering who they're going to make the villain and who's going to be the saint. We were definitely playing it up a bit."
