"We are educating students in the whole local election process. Students have to register to vote for the Civic Youth Day elections before they can vote for their peers. This is exactly the process they need to do in a couple of more years when they turn 18," Randell Trammell, state executive director with the State YMCA of Georgia, said in a press release.
