David Henderson was born July 1, 1939, in the Pine Grove Community of Cartersville. He departed this life on April 19, 2012, at Cartersville Medical Center. He was the youngest of nine children born to Henry Henderson and Nannie Richard Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Robert Lee, Viola Davis, Marjodene, Henry Ford, Oatha Sr., Arthur and Clara Bell (passed shortly after birth).
David graduated from Summer Hill High School in Cartersville. After graduation he served his country in the Unites States Air Force. He also attended Reinhardt College in Waleska. David was employed with WBHF Radio Station for many years.
David was a member of the Pine Grove Methodist Church for most of his life and had given his life to the Lord.
He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Henderson Jones; sister in-laws, Betty Cooley Henderson, Charlene Dean Henderson, Mamie Scott Henderson and Betty Henderson McAfee; special friend, Annette Wade; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special niece and caretaker, Marsha Henderson Alexander.
