Mrs. Betty Sue Cochran, 74, beloved wife and mother, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, at Maple Ridge Health Care Center. Born Feb. 25, 1938 in Manchester, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Charles Pinegar and the late Willie Rogers Pinegar. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Aldridge.

Mrs. Cochran was a member of Morning View Baptist Church in Acworth.

Survivors include her loving husband, Earl Cochran Jr. of Cartersville; her children, Clifton Carr of Cartersville, Tammy Carr Buckley of Manchester, Tenn., Coleman Cochran (Jane), and Shawn Cochran (Diana); her grandchildren, Chris Carr, David Buckley Jr., Russell Carr, Christian Cochran and Meagan Buckley; four great-grandchildren; her niece and nephew, Amanda Aldridge Orzino and Nicholas Aldridge; and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Sammy Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
