Born in Cartersville, March 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Dyar DeBoard and Velma DeBoard. He is proceeded in death by his parents and sister, Sue DeBoard Evans. Survivors include his son, Chad Samuel DeBoard and wife Angie Moore DeBoard; and daughter, Kim DeBoard Knott and husband Jason Knott; his brothers, Larry DeBoard and Ronney DeBoard; his sister, Faye DeBoard Phillips.
Memorial services conducted Friday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at Circle L Ministries in Taylorsville by Pastor Tony Lyle. Reception followed in church after service.
