Cartersville Canes 7-8 'B' All-Stars repeat as district champs

For the second year in a row, the 7-8 Cartersville Canes Little League "B" All-Stars team won the district baseball title, defeating Cedartown three games to none in a best-of-five series.

The Canes won the first game of the series last Thursday by a score of 21-10. Hard to believe with that football-esque score, but the Canes had to shake off a slow offensive start that saw them fall behind 6-2.
