Man threatened with messages on window, car
A Bartow County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a criminal trespass call at 1340 Ga. Highway 293 Wednesday night.
The victim said he heard someone knocking on the wooden plank under his son’s bedroom window around 11:30 p.m. He walked outside and saw the words, “Don’t think it’s over. Still watching you,” written in marker on a piece of rubber covering the upper part of the window.
According to the report, the victim said he heard footsteps coming from somewhere in the wood line, but he did not find anyone.
On Aug. 27, someone had written “I will be back, just wait” on the side of his car. The rear passenger window had been broken as well. The victim believes the same person is responsible for both incidents.
Although the deputy checked the area, he did not find anyone.
