Harriette L. Simmons, 56, of Due West, S.C., wife of Douglas Kirk Simmons, died suddenly on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Cartersville to Eva Nell Woods Davis and the late Harry Keller Cagle.

Mrs. Simmons was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Honea Path, S.C. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Surviving Mrs. Simmons is her husband of 16 years of the home; her mother and stepfather, Eva Nell and Johnny Davis of Due West, S.C.; two sons, Jeramie Cagle of Due West, S.C. and Christopher Daniel Bramlett of Landrum, S.C.; two brothers, Kirk Cagle and John Cagle of Cartersville; a sister, Cathy Shedd of Honea Path, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Mary Grace Cagle, Aubree Cagle and McCaylah Rose Cagel.

A service to celebrate Harriette's life will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kile Antone officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday.
