The Lady Wildcats return to the diamond today to play the Rome Lady Wolves, who were defeated by Allatoona, 8-0, earlier Wednesday.
The two teams are scheduled to start play at 7:30 p.m. in the double elimination tournament.
Woodland and Hiram played to a 4-4 tie in regulation play. Under international tiebreaker rules, a Hiram baserunner was then placed on second base to start extra-inning play.
The Lady Hornets scored two runs in the frame to claim the victory. Woodland was unable to score a run in its extra-inning play and took the loss.
