Charles Pecchio has been constantly active in the Kingston community since he moved to the city 12 years ago. He has purchased numerous buildings and pieces of property in the city’s downtown district and started a nonprofit organization, the Community Catalyst Corporation, that acts as a springboard for many of his community development projects.
This month will see a number of Pecchio’s most recent projects come into fruition. He started a new restaurant called the Kingston Cafe, which will see its grand opening Saturday, Oct. 13. Currently, the restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.
The Kingston Krypt, the city’s only haunted house, opened Oct. 6 as a CCC sponsored event, with $5 admission per person. It will be open Fridays and Saturdays through the end of October, and on Halloween.
