Spearheaded by Cassidy Greene, Adairsville wore down North Murray with a relentless first half and second half attack in its 7-0 win.
Adairsville opened up a 2-0 lead at halftime.
“During the break, we decided to keep on pressing the attack and not settle for boring second half,” coach Sexauer said.
That attack continued throughput the second half.
For the Lady Tigers, the victory was one to relish as it was their second road victory in as many days. On Thursday, Adairsville traveled to Coahulla Creek where it won, 4-1.
“It’s great to win on the road, but it will be even nice when we play our home opener next Tuesday against Sonoraville,” Sexauer said.
