The mother of James Rollins called Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Friday to report her son missing. She told police she last saw Rollins on Wednesday when he left her home at 4387 Bartow Carver Road, Acworth, wearing jeans, brown athletic shoes and a white-and-gray jacket.

Rollins said was going to a nightclub in Atlanta. His mother later found out he was picked up at the end of the driveway by one of the neighborhood teenagers. Friday, two unidentified men in Ingles approached a cashier and requested for her to make change with several large bills. The cashier said she had the money laying on her register while she was counting and one male was standing over her.

When the bookkeeper noticed the unusualness of the situation and walked over to investigate, the two men ran out of the store. The cashier’s drawer was $150 short and she is unsure whether she gave the wrong change or the men stole it when she wasn’t looking. The store provided BCSO with the surveillance video and the investigation will continue.
