Upon arrival the alleged victim told the officer he was walking toward the back door of the store when a white male in his 40s approached him. According to the BCSO incident report, the man wanted to know if he wanted to play a gambling card game. The victim then proceeded to the ATM to withdraw $300 because he only had $100 in his pocket. A white woman followed him to the ATM and said she needed to get some money out but did not do so. She continued to follow him out of the store after he withdrew his money.
When the victim stepped outside the store he saw the man ready to play with a hand full of cash and a deck of cards. When he approached him, two young white males and the female allegedly surrounded him. The original man who asked him to play cards pulled out a can of pepper spray and demanded his money. The victim gave him his $400 and after giving chase the group got away and left in two cars. Allegedly, the two young men drove away in a black Ford Crown Victoria and the other two individuals drove away in a white Chrysler 300.
