Mrs. Edna Carroll Prince, 90, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Golden Living at Kennestone in Marietta.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at Concord Cemetery in Tullahoma with Bro. Wayne Smith and Bro. Brent Fuller officiating. Visitation with the family was held Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Brown Carroll. Before relocating to Georgia, she was a member of First Christian Church of Tullahoma. She was also a member of the Woodmen of the World. She loved music and loved to sing and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. Mrs. Prince was a LPN and loved taking care of people. Nursing was her life and she had assisted in opening several new nursing homes in Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin H. Prince; two sons, Charles Wayne and Terry Robert Ghea; one step-son, James Arlin Prince; seven brothers, Floyd, Tom and Frank Carroll, Jody and Glennis Dameral and twin brothers, Elmer and Leonard Carroll; two sisters, Eva Kennedy and Maverine Mullins; and one grandson, Timmy Prince.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Loehr of Acworth; one step-daughter, Angie Fuller of Tullahoma; six grandchildren, Robert Clay Loehr Jr. and his wife Libby of Canton, Christopher Robert Ghea, Sherry Evans and her husband Charles of Estill Springs, Tenn., Monty Prince and his wife Jo Nan of Rockmart, Monica Fuller-Boswell and her husband William of Estill Springs, Tenn., and Brent Fuller and his wife Paula of Estill Springs, Tenn.; and eight great-grandchildren, George Loehr, Nick and Nicole Ghea, Macy Dae Boswell, Kohl Fuller, James Austin Prince, Tonya Brandon and Robbie Evans.
