“Every Georgian should have the opportunity to vote in the May 20 Primary Election,” said Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp in a press release. “The good news is that it is easier than ever to register to vote or to change your registration information.”
Georgia residents with a valid driver’s license can register online at registertovote.sos.ga.gov.
The My Voter Page smartphone application also allows Georgians to register to vote. Voters can view their specific sample ballot, find their polling locations, check voter registration status and track the status of their absentee ballot. The app is available for both Apple and Android platforms. Search for “GA Votes” in either company’s app store to find the app.
Locally, the Bartow County Board of Elections and Voter Registration said in a press release that county residents are welcome to register in person at 105 N. Bartow St., Cartersville office. Voters, according to the press release, can also mail in their registration forms, but they must be postmarked no later than April 21.
