As Jonathan left here to be with the Lord, he leaves behind a loving wife, Caycee Tubman; a beautiful baby girl, Dileona Tubman; parents, Preston and Shirley Tubman; siblings, Laura Armstrong, Rhonda Jenkins and Robert Tubman, whom he genuinely loved and admired. Common amongst them all was the love for fishing. Some believe that Jonathan was born with a rod and reel in his hands. There was no where he would rather be than at the lake with family and friends. Jonathan had a passion for music stronger than many knew. Any and every spare moment was spent writing or recording his music, which is a blessing in and of itself because now we have his music that will be listened to often and with love.
A Celebration of the life of Jonathan Tubman will be held Saturday, May 24, at the New Cannan Baptist Church, 1883 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Cartersville, GA 30120 at 4 p.m.
Parnick Jennings Sr.’s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave., Rome, is serving the family of Jonathan Tubman.
