The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in identifying two men wanted in connection with a car break-in June 28.

Photos of the two men were posted on social media outlets Wednesday afternoon after the burglary at the Budgetel Inn on Carson Loop off Cass White Road in the area of the Interstate 75 interchange.

The two are believed to have stolen a car stereo and enclosed speakers from a vehicle in the lot.

Anyone who has information as to the identity of these men is asked to call the BCSO Criminal Investigations Division at 770-382-5050 ext. 6030. Callers can remain anonymous. The “Submit a Tip” link through the BCSO Facebook page also allows users to report information anonymously.

A woman told deputies another driver became upset when she attempted to pass them, possibly firing a weapon at her.

According to the BCSO report, the woman was traveling on Sandtown Road before 11 p.m. Tuesday when she came up behind a green truck. The truck, which the woman said was “doing approximately 5 mph,” sped up and attempted to keep her from passing when she tried to maneuver around the vehicle.

The woman said when she reached Sandtown at Allatoona Pass she heard a gunshot and saw a flash coming from the driver’s side of the other vehicle. Her vehicle was not struck. When the woman turned onto Dolphin Drive, the truck continued on Allatoona Pass.

According to the report, the truck was an early to mid-2000 model dark green, mid-size truck with a camper top over the bed with tinted windows. She said there was a magnetic sign on both sides that read “handiman services” in a red, black and white design.
