“If we have great enough demand, we may consider making it a more frequent event,” said the market’s organizer, Alex Austin. “It is a farmer’s and artisan’s market, which will provide handcrafted artwork and fresh produce.
“We are still looking for sellers including local farmers, and any backyard vegetable growers or hobby artists. Sellers must register no later than June 1 and are required to pay a one-time $10 annual fee to help cover the expenses of the market. All vegetables must be grown locally, and all artisan goods must be handcrafted.”
Due to limited spacing, each vendor must provide their own market table from which to sell.
“We are looking forward to a great community market that will showcase all of the talent we have in the area and provide an entertaining place to buy creative, handmade goods and gift items, as well as fresh, delicious local produce,” Austin said.
Interested vendors need to contact Austin at 770-856-1967 or doodlingbug2004@yahoo.com.
