A 33-year-old woman called local authorities shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday to report she had been kidnapped, held against her will and raped, according to the incident report.

When deputies arrived, the woman, who had been reported "involuntarily missing" in Cobb County, was hiding behind bushes at a Glade Road motel, and someone told officers that two men with guns were trying to locate her. Deputies reported the woman was "extremely hysterical."

She said she had escaped the motel room when the men went to "make a deal," leaving her lying on the bed because they thought she had a seizure. The woman reported someone kicked both of her legs, causing bruises.

Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said his department had received the missing person report Sunday and the woman was allegedly taken from 3355 George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw, listed as Milstead Village apartments.

The BCSO incident report indicates the incident began at 4 a.m. Sunday. The woman, who Pierce said is from Acworth, was taken to Cartersville Medical Center by ambulance.

BCSO authorities said Wednesday more information on the incident likely would be released today.
