Rockfest draws crowd to Tellus

The Tellus Science Museum Rockfest drew a large crowd Saturday.

During Rockfest, vendors sold unique specimens of minerals, fossils and gems. The event is regarded as one of the largest mineral and gem shows in the state, was held Saturday and Sunday.

It also included mineral identification, music, food vendors and children’s activities ranging from playing dinosaur bingo to painting pet rocks.
